Info - Accessibility

At Cornwallis Fireworks, we aim to create an event that is accessible for all our customers.

Do you have access facilities at Cornwallis Fireworks?

Ticket holders who are registered disabled are entitled to a complimentary Essential Companion ticket once they have purchased a ‘General Admission’ ticket. These are not available online and can be obtained by applying HERE

You will need to provide your booking reference and proof of eligibility, which could be provided with for example your DLA/PIP documentation, your Attendance Allowance documentation, The Access Card, or blue badge guide.

Space on the viewing platform must be reserved in advance of the event, once full we will not be able to accommodate anyone further. Priority will be given to those with wheelchairs, or those less able to stand.

Please note that this is not a seated event nor platform. There will be limited seating available on the platform on a first come, first served basis to support those less able to stand. These seats cannot be reserved.

There will be 1 accessible toilet available close to the Accessible Viewing Platform. The remainder of the accessible toilets will be available in the main toilet blocks.

Limited disabled parking bays are available on a first come, first served basis just outside the school building.

Do you offer essential companion tickets?

Yes, where required we offer complimentary essential companion tickets. If you require one, please purchase your ticket as usual and then apply for your free Essential Companion ticket HERE.

Please provide us with your booking reference, contact details and proof of eligibility. Once approved, we will automatically send you your complimentary Essential Companion ticket.

Can I bring my friends / family onto the viewing platform?

Any customer who qualifies for access to the viewing platform will be able to bring at least one person with them to watch the show with – please note this will need to be booked in advance HERE.

If we are not at full capacity at the viewing platform at the time of the show, we will allow further guests on a first come first serve basis – however, we reserve the right to prioritise other customers with accessibility needs.

There will be a separate area right by the viewing platform that additional family and friends can watch the show from.

How do I book accessibility parking?

Disabled parking is available to book in advance, however, due to a limited number of parking bays being reserved for disabled customers.
